“Deuce”
 “Uno”  X  “Turnaround”

Purchased from Keith Berry in Sac City, Iowa

After much consideration, we have decided to sell "Deuce". We are keeping a number of his ewe lambs back, therefore allowing us to part with him.  This ram has a unique blend of bloodlines that include Berry, Hancock and Garvie has done a great job of adding bone, hip shape and shag, while keeping the touch of our predominantly Marx suffolk line of ewes. Call 937-205-5036 or email pleimanj@botkins.k12.oh.us for more information and details.

"Bullseye"
"Bull" X Marx 9-57 daughter

We would like to thank Mel Marx for the opportunity to use this outstanding ram lamb.  We believe this ram lamb possesses the beautiful shoulder, clean chest floor, and perfect neck set that will work well with our ewe base.  He has beautiful bone and is so good on his feet and legs. We felt we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to use a great combination of both the “36” and “9-57” bloodlines that are so predominant in Mel’s flock.

 Ace  Ace
“6” son X 131
His sire is a “6” son we had the opportunity to use for our ’07 lamb crop along with Mel Marx.   We used Ace on a select few ewes for the '09 lamb crop. His lambs possessed their father’s long, square hind saddle, balanced look and power to add to his beautiful front end.  He has a tremendous amount of bone to go with his very parallel lines.  He is level and square from the top of the shoulders to the tip of his dock.
 Full House

Full House
“Crazy 8” X 311 (daughter of 131)

One of our keeper ram lambs from our ’08 crop.  He possesses the great look that the industry is all about right now.  He stamped his babies with his beautiful hip design and bone that he possesses.  He is the unique combination of power and style that will add to anyone's show string or breeding flock.  His twin brother was sold to the Joe Crites family near Coolville, Ohio and sired the Grand Champion at the Athens County Fair in '09. Check out their lambs also this spring to see what their ram was able to do for them.

Full House was the sire of the Reserve Champion Carcass on Foot at the 2009 Champaign County Fair in Ohio, exhibited by Betsy Neer.
Sold to the Dean Beiry Family of Rawson, Ohio.

Marx 36 X Marx 8
One of the last “36” sons left of Fred Knop’s was used in partnership with Mel Marx for our '09 lamb crop. His bloodlines are a who’s who of Mel Marx and Fred Knop’s on both the dam and sire sides.  He was extremely wide based and his clean, elevated front end added a tremendous amount of eye appeal to all his power.  His wide, square hip shape as well as his great rack helped us to continue to produce sheep that will excel in both the show ring and in the flock.
 Crazy 8

“Crazy 8”
“6” son  X  Marx 35 daughter
“Crazy 8” was our keeper ram lamb from the ’07 lamb crop.  This suffolk ram added a tremendous amount of muscle to our ’08 lambs.  He stamped his lambs with his patterned long, wide hip and his full square loin edge.  His lambs also possessed their father’s balance of eye appeal and power.
Sold to the Brad Heaton Family in Russia, Ohio.

 Ebeling Buck

Ebeling Ram
Marx 26  X  Marx 60 daughter

This ram was used for our ’08 lamb crop. This 26 son’s offspring have a powerful yet balanced athletic look.  They are super square from the rack through the tail with a very wide pin set.  His lambs exhibited their father’s parallel lines and eye appeal.
